We have ordered a king size bed and mattress from Ashley Furniture. It was delivered today. Ashley has mentioned in delivery terms that the bed will be repositioned but the delivery team charged us $80 (cash) and left the bed unassembled in the living area. Upon asked to assemble the older set, they said it is going to charge us extra $40. It does not looks reasonable charges ($120 cash) to assemble and disassemble the queen size frame. Ashley Furniture need to explain REPOSITIONING meaning to their customer. Please note: I have texted (owner) at the provided number in the reply. I have changed the rating from 1 to 5 because Ashley heard me loud and clear. Rose (Ashley rep) was sympathetic to me. Thanks Rose

I also appreciate that Google provides a platform for customers to leave reviews—otherwise, concerns like mine would be ignored, as the store manager and sales associate seem focused solely on making the sale and take no responsibility for any issues afterward. *********** We purchased two sofas from this store and paid $160 for delivery. After two weeks, the delivery team arrived but refused to bring the sofas upstairs, saying “You’re on the fourth floor; we can’t deliver them” — and took the sofas back. although, on the day of the sale, we informed them we live in an apartment, no one advised us to check the elevator size . they were only focused on making the sale. At the store, they wasted another week before telling us they could not complete the delivery. When we asked for a refund for both the sofas and the delivery fee, they told us to “call customer service,” even though we purchased directly from the store. This is completely unacceptable. We purchased the sofas directly from the store, meaning they were quick to take our payment but are now refusing to take responsibility for the refund. We have now spent a full day trying to cancel the order and get our refund. The manager and the staff simply push the responsibilty onto each other and do not give us any clear answer. To make matters worse, they say they will keep 10% of the amount as store credit which i do not need or want.
