I purchased a $999 Essentials Firm 2.0 King mattress on March 1, 2026, as part of a $5,823 order financed through Fairstone. At the time of purchase, I specifically pointed to the floor demo and asked for that mattress because it was firm. I was told the warehouse unit would be identical. It was not. The mattress I received on April 8 is soft and saggy. I have not slept on it. After the 48-hour expansion period I was told to allow, it remained soft. When I followed up, the salesperson admitted that demo and warehouse mattresses are not always the same. That is the opposite of what I was told when I paid. I was also never informed that the manufacturer's warranty on the mattress requires a mattress protector. This was not disclosed at the point of sale. Every time I asked for this matter to be escalated, I was passed around. The salesperson repeatedly asked whether I had spoken with the guest experience team instead of taking ownership of the issue. I have been bounced between people with no one willing to make a decision. When I finally asked for the store manager and regional manager's contact details, the salesperson refused and told me management does not communicate by email. I have sent formal written complaints and received no resolution. I'm filing complaint with Consumer Protection BC and the Better Business Bureau. I''ll be also pursuing this through the BC Civil Resolution Tribunal. A $5,823 purchase deserves better than this.

Very disappointing experience with Ashley HomeStore. The sofa lost its shape after just 2 days. After nearly 2 months, the technician said it’s “normal” and we should fix it ourselves every week — unacceptable. The bed arrived dirty, without proper packaging, and with scratches and stains. They called this “standard” and asked us to wait again for repairs. The mattress is the worst — it caused serious back pain for both me and my spouse. We wake up tired and sore every day. They refused to replace it, saying we didn’t buy extra protection — something that was never clearly explained. Overall, poor quality, poor service, and zero accountability. I do NOT recommend this store.

We are very pleased with our purchase from Ashley and will confidently recommend your store to our family and friends. Harleen’s strong product knowledge and customer service made a great impression.
