Pleasantly surprised by the Kelowna store. Wasn’t expecting to see the quality and style. Our sales person, Cindy, is very helpful, astute in picking up on your needs and knowledgeable.

If you are considering shopping at the Kelowna location of Ashley HomeStore, read this first. I furnished my entire home here and spent over $40,000. I was strongly encouraged to purchase extended warranties on everything and was assured they would cover essentially all issues for five years. Based on that, I moved forward with the purchase. Less than four years later, multiple pieces of furniture are already falling apart. That is when the real experience with Ashley began. I scheduled a service appointment through customer care. Then another. Then another. Three separate appointments required me to take time off work so I could be home. All three times, no one showed up. Each appointment ended with a last minute cancellation in the final hour of their service window after I had already waited the entire day. Three lost days and no progress. Customer service was not helpful. The only solution offered was to schedule another appointment. Store management attempted to assist but did not have the authority to resolve the issue. The general manager (Tashar Taneja) has been involved for over two months with no outcome. The area manager (Ryan Nikkle) has not responded to my emails and will not provide a phone number. Clearly he has no intention of resolving this matter. This has now been ongoing for more than five months. They had no problem taking $40,000 from me. When it comes time to stand behind their product or honour the warranty they sold, there is no accountability and no resolution. The quality does not match the price, and the warranty is not what it was presented to be. If you value your time, your money, and a company that stands behind its commitments, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

We came into the store yesterday and Hope made the experience so smooth and easy. She got a sense of what we were looking for right away, while also showing us a few other options to help us feel confident in our choice. Super knowledgeable on the products and overall just a great experience!

Purchased leather sofa and loveseat. Only one piece arrived instead of both. (Loveseat). It was defective and called the seller. They have nothing to do with after-sale anything, so you go through a bot that simply offers you cash to satisfy your complaint. After significant effort and delay, we were advised replacement parts would be shipped and we were to contact them when the parts arrived - we did. Appointment was made, and they never showed up. (wasted an entire day off work) Without offering an explanation, another appointment was made and an hour before they were to arrive, (another day off work) they sent a notice that the appointment was cancelled and it would be a month before another date. We are now into our 3rd month with defective, expensive leather furniture. Based on the quality of the product and their appalling customer service, I could not in good conscience recommend them at all.

I went in looking for a chair to help with my physical needs. The man was very knowledgeable and excellent at customer service skills. He made my experience purchasing a chair very comfortable and put my mind at ease.

Ashley’s in Kelowna has a wide variety of furniture t9 choose from at a reasonable price. Cindy gave us amazing service and very knowledgeable about all the items we looked at in the store. She made the whole furniture shopping process less daunting.
