Absolutely a horrible experience!!! They were great until we paid! We spent over $23,000 in the Ashley Brandon store to furnish our new home. After the payment was made, all of the sudden the furniture couldn’t be delivered on the days we discussed!! We had came into the store 6 weeks in advance to order and he was so eager for a sale that he convinced us, “yup yup lots of time to get it on time for move in date”!! So it was very annoying to move from a different province and have no furniture on move in day! 3 weeks after moving in we finally got all the pieces we had ordered!! We paid extra for white glove delivery and just about half the piece that showed up had some sort of damage! The bench for the kitchen table had a huge chip out of it and the material looked like it had been stitched together by someone who knew absolutely nothing about sewing! Just an absolute hack job! The clock, worked for about a day and now the big hand falls once it gets to the 12:00 position! The leather love seat has a horrible cut in the leather! The sales person talked us into getting a box spring for the one bed and mattress we bought and it’s 5 feet high! Our son couldn’t even get into his bed with a stool, it was so high! So we now have a box spring that we can’t return! So upon complaining, the Brandon store would do absolutely nothing to help us out! Like nothing at all!! Only things they did was directed us to corporate! Not hey, you know what, you spent a lot of money, let us help you out! NOTHING!! Well corporate is no better!! They want pictures and then more pictures and then they want codes and then wait for an email then call back and now they just want to just repair the damages, not replace the pieces! Like how do you repair a leather couch and the wood and fabric on a bench!!! It would be different if we didn’t spend top dollar for the furniture, but we paid for NEW furniture, not used, refurbished furniture!! It’s new, damaged on delivery, send us the replacement!!! Ashley furniture absolutely has the worst customer service around, they simply do not care about their reputation or how they treat their customers. If you want good furniture and good customer service, stay FAR FAR away from Ashley furniture because you will not get either from them!!
Both the manager and salesperson helped us out and were very accommodating and worked well together, knew a lot about the couches, even showed us how to detach it. Got us the best possible discounts and demonstrated how this fabric won’t scratch or puncture. Plus delivery in only two weeks was the deciding factor.
