We really appreciate that when we are looking at merchandise in a store, we are allowed to look on our own and if we need help we will ask and that was how it was today. We recently purchased a sofa bed from the Barrie store. No complaints with the sales person he did well by us however the delivery staff dropped the ball. Two chaps showed up and really didn’t seem to have a clue on how to get it into the house. They almost died carrying it up three steps then were at a loss on how to get it in the house. I seriously doubted if they had ever moved anything before. If I had not been there they probably would still be outside trying to figure out how to get it in. At 71 years old with an heart condition I ended up with a sore back So much for the “white glove” delivery service at a cost of $160.00. Further to this we did contact the number provided, received a ticket number with promises that they’d be in touch. That was a week ago and no return call. We have not heard anything from Ashley Furniture since calling their number
