Rhiddi was amazing to work with. She was extremely thorough and her knowledge on all products was most impressive. She followed up with me several times and even came in on her day off to finish the sale. I also love the 30 day price match!
I recently purchased the Jorliana dining table from Ashley Furniture in Kitchener, and unfortunately, the overall experience was very disappointing. The first table that was delivered had damage on all four sides of the tabletop, so it had to be taken back immediately. After waiting another week for a replacement, the second tabletop arrived with noticeable discolouration. I contacted customer support, but they did not seem particularly concerned about the repeated quality issues. I also reached out to the salesperson who sold me the table, who forwarded my concerns to the technical team, but that did not result in any meaningful action. It was only on the third delivery that I finally received a tabletop in acceptable condition. As a result of these repeated issues, I had to take time off and spent two full days waiting at home for deliveries of defective products. My biggest concern is Ashley's apparent lack of quality inspection prior to shipping products to customers. These defects should have been identified before delivery, saving customers unnecessary inconvenience. While I am happy with the table I eventually received, the process of getting it was frustrating and time-consuming. My advice to anyone purchasing furniture from Ashley is to inspect the product thoroughly before accepting delivery and to compare similar products from other retailers before making a decision. Better quality control and customer service would significantly improve the overall buying experience.
