I walked into Ashley today for the first time. We were in the market for a new sofa and this was the first stop I had planned on a few different stores to search. Immediately I was greeted by Nafisa and she was so warm and welcoming and knowledgeable. She helped me out immensely. There was no pressure to buy, but with her help I found a new couch that I loved. She walked me through the process, explained everything and answered all my questions. She was fantastic and made my experience shopping for a new couch quick and easy! Thank you Nafisa!
Your Point of Sale process is in serious need of an overhaul. My in-store purchase was small yet it took nearly half an hour and two different employees to process the order. Why do I need to set up an account for a $150 order? When I said I wanted to pay in cash was told “we don’t have change”. An error (discount not applied on 2nd item) meant the order had to be re-entered. Finally it went through correctly, but had to wait again for the (three page!?) receipt to print. Overall a less than optimal customer experience.
Our experience from start to finish with our sales lady Roxanne (Fairway Kitchener)to our delivery from Dushane and Joeba went seamlessly. The constant communication from the store, being able to track the delivery, the professional delivery and handling of our 2 new couches was a great experience. I highly recommend Ashley furniture.
