We had a great experience with Geetha, who was very patient, helpful, and knowledgeable while helping us choose our furniture. She was assisted by Parisa, a new staff member who was also very kind and supportive. Together, they made our shopping experience easy and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

From the store manager to the sales representatives, everyone one was such a friendly, delightful group to make you feel at home. I was heading to another store I normally went to, when we passed by and my daughter asked if I wanted to check Ashley's out. Your professionalism and time you spent answering the millions of questions we had did not make us feel rushed so that you could run to the next potential customer. Was pleased with the quality and pricing. The only thing I was a wee disappointed with was on one of the two drivers, the one who put my recliner together was busy on his cell off and on speaking in a different language, which delayed the set up of the recliner. When I asked him questions, ie.: where and how I attach the external battery when the power goes out, he didnt explain or show it me properly, I am in the dark for a senior. The second gentleman was awesome bringing in and cleaning up as he took off the wrap and cardboard, and tidied up any small debris in the main corridor and my apartment. So glad I said yes to taking a look in Ashley's. I never even considered going to the other two shops that I normally check out. Thank you so much Ashley's staff - Scarborough location on Kennedy.

After a long couple of weeks of couch shopping around the Kennedy area and decision making we are grateful to Shalini for helping us with our decision and for her friendliness in correspondence with us. I appreciate when I don’t feel pressured to make a decision on the spot and I also felt welcomed by many of the other staff during our visits in store. Would come back again!

This location is very pleasant and the staff are nice but the overall experience with furniture delivery and installation was horrible. I will never purchase anything from Ashley again. The two delivery people delivered the bed I purchased and installed the bedframe and adjustable base. I didn't watch them as they were installing but I noticed they went into my ensuite and had the sink turned on. I later found out they needed to get water to remove a stain from the new headboard that one of them had accidentally dirtied with their hands. Accidents happen so I wasn't too worried about it. When they left, I noticed that some motion sensor lights were not installed either and left in a box with the base legs. I called customer service, they scheduled a technician to come out for three weeks from delivery to clean the headboard and install the lights. The technician never came out the day the call was scheduled. So I called customer service and apparently I was to recieve a message to respond to with a picture of the issues before the date of service. I never received the message. They rescheduled the service call, so we are now six weeks out from delivery. A technician came out yesterday, advised he could not install the motion lights because the adjustable bed platform was rested on the bedframe slats instead of the legs they came with which he said might be dangerous given the weight and lack of solid platform underneath. The motion lights would have wrapped around the adjistable base legs, hence why they were not installed. The technician left. I then received a bot message saying a new service ticket was set up. I had no idea why and assumed the technician noted something about the adjustable base install. I called customer service again, and this time I asked why there was a service ticket and the rep said she wasn't sure. She noted it looked like my last service ticket was duplicated and she would remove it from the system. I advised that I wanted the adjustable bed base to be attached the legs it came with as per technician's advice. She advised it likely was ok the way it was, to which I told her that the technician is probably better at assessing the installation. She promplty scheduled service and said the duplicated ticketbfor the previous service call was closed. Now I have received 5 texts, 2 calls and 4 emails about the duplicated service call. While I tried cancelling through the bot service, I was prompted to more questions. I again called customer service and had to repeat this saga again because the notes weren't clear. If you want hassle free installation and delivery, do not purchase from Ashely. I paid for white glove service which is automatically added to the bill of sale. The store is lovely, the reps are lovely and the quality of the furniture is nice too but unfortunately the store reps are not the ones responsible for proper delivery and install once items are purchased. _________________ November 1, 2025 Two new technicians came to install the base legs and motion light sensors for the adjustable bed. They did not remove the centre slats of the frame, and attached the base legs at the head and foot of the base. All looked ok but now the mattress sits unevenly; sloped to the headboard ans I figured out why. The two front legs are suspended in the air and the two back legs are crooked. They also broke the motion sensor strap which I discovered today. As per the instructions, the sensors should be attached to the centre legs of the base, but since they did not install the centre legs, and kept the bed slats, they placed the lights on them on the front legs. Honestly, regret cannot begin to describe my experience with Ashley. I only bought this adjustable bed to help me recover from surgeries I have had due to breast cancer. I had a hard time getting out of my low profile bed. Now, I wish I never "upgraded". This entire experience has been more aggravating than treatments. What was to provide ease and relief during recovery has caused the opposite. I am sleeping on the coach now.

The people were great but not overly thrilled with the high delivery cost of $169. I was surprised there was a charge at all since it is a furniture store.
