I am beyond disappointed with Ashley Furniture. This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Back in March, I received damaged lamps. When I spoke to Karen, the assistant manager, I told her we were in the middle of home renovations. She never mentioned there was a 48-hour return window. By the time I opened the boxes and saw the damage, it was too late. I then had to deal with their Customer Care line, which was another nightmare—endless wait times and no help. After finally getting escalated to a supervisor, I explained my situation, only to be told repeatedly that nothing could be done since the 48 hours had passed—even though the items were clearly damaged. After pushing, I was finally allowed to exchange the lamps for a headboard. But the problems continued. When the headboard arrived, it came without any hardware—no bolts, no nuts, nothing. My husband called Customer Care and was told that we could either purchase the hardware ourselves and be reimbursed or wait a week for them to send it out. We chose to wait, but were concerned about the 48-hour return window. We contacted Karen again and told her we wanted to return and reorder the headboard to protect ourselves. She said that we would have to call Customer Care and explain the situation to them. This was confusing, as we were previously told we had 48 hours to return items, but now it seemed that returning the headboard wasn’t a possibility. Instead of assisting us, Karen seemed to be making up excuses. I then asked to speak with her manager, and she told me, “You can call in the morning.” Just another way to push me off and avoid responsibility. To make matters worse, I had also purchased a blanket throw. When my husband went to pick it up and brought it home, it was completely defective—full of pulls and snags, looking more like a rag than a new item. When I called Karen about it, she said, “Oh, I just put it in the bag. I didn’t notice anything. I don’t have any more.” She then suggested we check the Burlington location, only to find that all the throws there were in the same poor condition. They should be embarrassed selling such defective items. After all these inconveniences, my husband will be going to the store tonight to return and reorder another headboard. Given the circumstances, they should offer us a refund! This whole experience has been nothing but the runaround. Driving back and forth to the store costs money and time, and no one seems to care. The customer service is appalling, management is rude and uncooperative, and the products are clearly defective. Ashley Furniture has been a total disappointment from start to finish. Never again. I wish I had read the google reviews before buying from this store!! Buy elsewhere!

People have been great but over all experience not the greatest. Our delivery was very messed up from Wed to Thursday to Saturday. We were happy that it did arrive Saturday morning but unfortunately the headboard and one Side table are damaged. We will need a replacement please.
