I recently had a frustrating experience with Ashley's customer service that I feel compelled to share. I've been trying to resolve an issue with my protection plan for the past three months, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, the customer service representative I spoke with failed to file my claim properly. After making three more calls, another representative finally took my claim and assured me it would be delivered by a specific date. However, when I followed up, I was given a new delivery date, which was pushed back even further. When I called again, they informed me that it would take an additional month. I requested to speak with a manager, hoping for some resolution, but was met with disappointment. The manager explained that his role was merely to "coach his team" and that he couldn’t do anything to help me. The entire experience has left me feeling that the protection plan is not worth it, and their customer service is severely lacking. They clearly don’t value their customers, and I would not recommend dealing with Ashley for any protection plan needs.

Overall staff was really supportive and helpful plus they qualify of furniture is very good

All was good. Salesperson was great. Even had some laughs together. Keep up the good work. Couch is set up and everything looks good.
We ordered a bed frame from here on July 13th 2024. Was told it would arrive and we can pick it up on July 27th and we were excited for our new bedroom to come together. When we haven't heard from you by July 31st we called to check what was going on only to be told that it will now be delivered by August 16th. This wasn't a huge deal as it was only a small delay and these things can happen. Decided to check the status again to make sure everything was going as planned on August 12th to be told it was delayed again. This time to October 4th. At this point the delays had become a bit extreme but we loved the product and decided to give it till then anyways even though we had been given no reasons for any delays. On September 11th we called to check up again only to be told it would be another 8-10 weeks. The sales person originally told us this was only coming from Calgary and shouldn't be more then 2 weeks which has now turned into 5 months. Again no explanations and this time not even a date. At this point we decided to go in for a refund on September 14th as the delay was significantly past what was communicated. The original sales person who claimed to be the manager said it wasn't a problem and we left the store assured that the money would be put back onto our credit card. Sunday November 10th we recieved a text saying our order has arrived and available for pickup and had NOT been refunded as the store manager had assured us. This is unacceptable and unprofessional beyond all belief. We feel cheated and stolen from. Ashley Furniture essentially held our money hostage until they were able to uphold their end of the sale, even though the sale had been cancelled months before. Edit: The store manager contacted me and apologized for this experience and compensation has been offered, which was very appreciated. According to the communication I was actually dealing with the sales manager and not the store manager.
We are waiting for our purchase to be delivered in a couple weeks however our experience was real good. Very knowledgeable salesman named Prince took care of us a quickly recognized our needs. Great demonstration of the product and a good personal story of his own experience that resonated. The combination of his delivery and that of their sales leader were great. We walked out, spent a lot and were fulfilled.
Rana was a pleasure to deal with and got us a good deal on our purchases but here we are over two months later without our appliances. Delivery dates keep changing and trying to speak with a real person on the phone is proving difficult.
